Population of 350, Quilpie is a charming town with a character. Baldy Top and Table Top lookout are just outside of town. Quilpie is also a home of boulder opal.

A pleasant and quiet town in Outback Queensland, Quilpie is at the end of railline and the beggining of where the Outback really opens up. There are a couple cafes and museums in town and you shouldn't miss the view from Baldy Top.
