AN overall wonderful place to visit. While art attraction may lack compared to Sydney and Melbourne, there are great outdoor activities and places to eat.

One of our favorite cities in Australia! Very easy to get around on foot and with public transportation (including the ferry system). Less touristy than Sydney, but with plenty to see and do. As Queensland's capital city, Brisbane is quite cosmopolitan. We enjoyed the free internet available throughout the city. On weekdays, free bus and ferry transportation is available in the inner-city precincts. The information center is in the lovely old Regent Theatre building on Queen Street Mall.

Brisbane is main city of Queensland and I had chance to spend there only 2 days. Mainly just see the city but didn't visit much.
