Flights to Nîmes are ideal for anyone who enjoys beautiful scenery, rich culture, and delicious cooking.
Situated between the glittering blue Mediterranean Sea and the verdant Cévennes Mountains, Nîmes has quite a few claims to fame. Not only is it the capital of French bullfighting, it’s also home to one of the most impressive coliseums outside of Rome. So impressive, in fact, that it was used in the film Gladiator. The amphitheatre is still in use, with musicians like Stevie Wonder playing there, and an annual Roman games festival taking place each April.
