How to get to London Southend Airport
2 miles outside Southend-on-Sea in Essex, Southend Airport is further out of the city than London five other airports, but easily accessible from the capital via the M25 (Junction 29).
There are local bus services from Arriva (7, 8 and 9) and a X30 coach service which runs between Chelmsford and Stansted Airport via Southend. A frequent rail service runs into London from Southend Airport Station, with a journey time of 45 minutes to Stratford, 53 minutes to Liverpool Street and onward Tube services from both of these stations.
