Petrol stations near Valladolid Airport
If you select a 'full to full' car rental agreement you will need to hand your car back with a full tank.
There are no petrol stations on the N-601 near the airport. It's recommended that you fuel up before leaving Valladolid. There's a Repsol petrol station on Avenida del Euro, about 15 minutes drive from the airport.
Driving around Valladolid Airport
The N-601 single-carriageway road passes the airport and leads into the city. If you're going further afield, it takes about 15 minutes to drive onto the A-62 motorway from the airport. This road runs east-to-west across Spain, from the Portuguese border to Burgos. Traffic in Spain drives on the right-hand side of the road.
Getting to your destination

It takes just under 20 minutes to drive into downtown Valladolid from the airport. You can park on-street for short trips into the city centre, but if you want to park for a few hours or longer it's best to leave your car in a car park. Expect to pay anywhere from €1.85-2.20 (about £1.30-1.55) per hour, depending on location.
Famous for its black pudding and its UNESCO listed cathedral, Burgos is a lovely little city packed with atmospheric streets and great places to eat.
If you can't find cheap flights to Burgos Airport you can drive from Valladolid Airport: the journey takes about an hour and fifteen minutes by car. There's a good range of public car parks in Burgos, and it's also possible to park on-street for a limited amount of time. Hotels with parking are mostly available on the outskirts of the city.

Valladolid is a great alternative airport if there are no flights to Leon for your travel date. It takes just over an hour and a half to reach the city centre by car. Leon is a small city but suffers quite heavily from congestion. You can park on-street in the city centre for up to two hours, but if you want to stay for longer it's best to find an underground car park or choose a hotel with private parking.
