Driving around Tivat Airport
Roads in Montenegro are all single carriageways, so there are no motorways to worry about. The Jadranska Magistrala Road passes the airport, and circles the peninsula around the coastline. It's not too big a road so you don't have to worry about fast, motorway style traffic. In Montenegro vehicles drive onthe right-hand side of the road. Your car's steering wheel will be on the left-hand side. It might take you a while to get used to changing gears, as well as turning at junctions. Remember to keep your wits about you. If necessary, choose a car hire package that comes with a sat-nav. This way you won't need to concentrate on a map, and can focus on getting all of your manoeuvres correct.
