Rodez Airport is 12km from the city of Rodez and can be reached by staying on the D840 towards Rond-Point de Calcomier and continue into the city centre of Rodez.

Parking is available in a number of Rodez hotels however those in the centre of Rodez will be within the pedestrian zone and alternate parking arrangements will need to be made for the car.
The ancient city of Belcastel is a popular stop-off on a road trip due to its main attraction – The Chateau de Belcastel – a medieval castle with courtyards, gardens and plenty to see and do.
Belcastel is 27km from Rodez Airport and can be reached by heading southeast on the exit road for 350m before taking the first exit at the roundabout onto La Cordenade (D840) and follow for 3.7km. Turn right onto the D598 and follow for 3km before taking a right on to the D994 and continuing for 12.2km into Belcastel.
For visitors to the Chateau there is plenty of free parking available together with supervised paid parking on-site. The town of Belcastel has narrow streets because of its antiquity and is mostly restricted to pedestrians.
The village of Conques is located on a plateau towards the Lot valley and is a popular destination to visit because of its medieval architecture with its abbey church and it is one of the most important spiritual and artistic centres attracting pilgrims and tourists in their droves.
Conques is 30km from Rodez Airport and can be reached by following the D840 southeast towards Conques for 30km, directly into the centre of the village.
Car traffic is subject to regulation in Conques during the tourist season of May to September. Access through the village during those months is prohibited. A flat fee applies during the peak season which is €4 and once paid, will last for the season. There is free parking 2km from the village centre in La Riviere.
