Driving around Kiev Borispol Airport
The E40 motorway passes the airport. This is a large and busy road. Traffic drives on the right-hand side of the road in Ukraine. This can take a bit of getting used to, so it's important to keep your wits about you. If you haven't driven a left-hand-drive car before, we recommend spending a few minutes in the car park getting used to the controls. There's a zero per cent tolerance for drunk driving, so don't be tempted by the local vodka.

Known for its arboretum, one of the Seven Wonders of Ukraine, the city of Uman also has a few nice art galleries. It's a popular destination for Hasidic Jews.
It takes just under two and a half hours to drive to Uman from Kiev Borispol Airport. Parking is widely available in the city, so you should have no trouble finding somewhere to leave your rental car. We recommend choosing a hotel with car parking for extra security.
