There are lots of parking options throughout the city. Many street parking spaces are free for the first two hours and impose time limits. For longer stays, the Bridger Park Garage is your best option.

Yellowstone National Park

Bozeman is seen as the gateway to Yellowstone National Park. The park covers nearly 3500 square miles and is home to canyons, rivers, forests, hot springs and lots of wildlife. Activities include camping, hiking, fishing, horse riding and cycling. There are also ranger led tours where you can learn more about the park and its wildlife.

It takes around an hour and 40 minutes to get to West Yellowstone, the west entrance to the park. Drivers can take route 90 to Bozeman before picking up the 191 heading south. The west entrance is open to visitors from April to November but closed to all but tracked-oversnow vehicles during winter months. There are some petrol stations within the park and lots of parking options.

Chico Hot Springs

The Chico Hot Springs sit at the base of the Absaroka mountains. It’s part luxury resort, part old world ranch. Visitors can either stay the night or pop into the day spa. There’s also a saloon and lots of outdoor activities available in the local area.

Chico Hot Springs are an hour’s drive from Bozeman Airport, taking route 90 through Bozeman and then picking up route 89 as you come to Livingstone. There’s a large car park on site and the springs are well signposted.
