There's a Lukoil petrol station a few minutes away from the airport. It's just off the main dual carriageway, in a retail park. Look out for the Makro cash and carry and KFC takeaway. After filling up you can easily get back on the road to the airport.

It takes less than ten minutes to drive into the city centre from the airport. Lots of hotels in Bydgoszcz have car parks for guests. If your accommodation doesn't have spaces, don't worry. On-street parking is widely available, and there are also a number of multi-storey and surface car parks.
The birthplace of Copernicus, Torun is one of Poland's most beautiful cities. Spared by the bombs of WWII, the city offers a wealth of gothic architecture and UNESCO heritage sites. Best of all, it's still off the beaten track: so you're not likely to bump into any British stag do's.
It takes about 40 minutes to drive to Torun city centre from Bydgoszcz airport. Traffic isn't allowed in the centre of the city, but there are lots of places to park nearby. On-street parking is divided into two zones: red and yellow. The red zone is slightly more expensive, with prices starting at PLN 2.50 (about 45p) for the first hour. In the yellow zone the first hour costs PLN 1.30 (about 23p). There are also some guarded car parks on the outskirts of the old quarter.
Remote and quaint, the village of Wiele makes a great base for a hiking holiday. Lovely lakes and beautiful forests surround the village, and there are a few interesting churches for history buffs.
It takes just under two hours to drive to Wiele from Bydgoszcz Airport. The area is quite remote, so car parking is plentiful. Most B&Bs, camp sites, and other accommodation in the area have dedicated parking spaces for guests.
