 Getting to & from the Airport

Driving hide 

London City Airport is located 10 miles from the West End, 6 miles from the financial district and 3 miles from Canary Wharf.. It is primarily used by those who work in the centre of London.

From the North – Take the M6/M1 and join the M25. Leave the M25 at junction 30 and follow the A13 that is sign posted the airport.

From the West take the M4, from the South East, the M3 and from the South you follow the M2.

There is both long and short stay parking at London City Airport both located walking distance to the terminal building. You can pre-book spaces or just turn up on the day.

Trains hide 

The most effective way to reach London City Airport is by using the Dockland'sLight Railway (DLR). Journey times are 18 minutes to Canary Wharf and 22 minutes to Bank. Trains run every 10 minutes between the hours of 05.32 and 00.37, with a very slightly reduced service at the weekends.

The closest tube to London City Airport is Canning Town on the Jubilee Line from where you can join the DLR arriving at London City Airport in just 10 minutes.

Buses hide 

National Express do not go to London City Airport but they do stop at a number of destinations close to it. These include Canary Wharf and Bank which are only a short journey away and easily accessible by DLR.
