Driving hide 

It is not advisable to drive yourself to the airport as traffic and roads can be extremely hectic, overcrowded and dangerous if you are not accustomed to them. It is best to use public transport to reach the airport which will also be cheaper.

Trains hide 

A super-fast airport express has been put in service to connect the airport with the central part of New Delhi. It operates from 05:00 am until 11:00 pm, every 20 minutes. The airport express operates between Dwarka Sector 21 and New Delhi Railway Station via IGI Airport Terminal 3, Aerocity, Dhaula Kuan, Shivaji Stadium (Connaught Place) & New Delhi Railway Station.

Delhi is well connected with most parts of India by a rail network. With 63,000 km of rail routes and 6,800 stations, the railway network in India is the third biggest in the world.

Buses hide 

Buses are the cheapest way of travelling to the airport from the city. They are reliable, fast and cheap. There is a shuttle bus that runs every 30 minutes connecting the airport to central Delhi.
