Air2There is a regional New Zealand Airline headquartered at Kapiti Coast Airport in Paraparaumu, situated 60 km north of Wellington. It handles scheduled services across Cook Strait, as well as charter services to several destinations within New Zealand. The airline started off offering flights to Blenheim, Nelson, Wellington, Masterson, and Plamerson North, but ceased operations to the latter two shortly due to the lack of market. air2there's fleet consists of 14-seat Jet prop Grand Caravan for a fast, comfortable, and most importantly safe journey. The airline has a code share agreement with Soundsair, an aviation business arrangement that means the two airlines share the same flight. The bookings may be distinguished by the colour of the aircraft icon; blue for air2there, and orange for Soundsair.
Air2There offers the following types of fares; standard, premium, and One Multipass sector credit, which would be useful for all routes. It is also possible to get a Tranz Metro rail day pass fare when booking a flight with air2there. It can be used for the Tranz Metro, part of KiwiRail, which operates the five-line Metlink network from Wellington to destinations such as Waikanae and Masterson. Bookings for scheduled passenger flights as well as charter flights can be made online through the official website or via telephone, without extra charges. Flight tours are also available.
Where We Fly
Air2There operates to different destinations within New Zealand. Blenheim is one of the sunniest towns in the country, and is the ideal place to get a taste of the food culture and to try the local wine. In Nelson, visitors can tour the Abel Tasman National Park and Nelson Lakes National Park, as well as explore the World of Wearable Art. Of course Wellington, though very windy, also has a lot to offer; the country's coolest little capital is home of Zealandia, Carter Observatory, Wellington Botanic Garden, Wellington Zoo, and other theatres, museums, galleries, and boutiques. The airline also offers flight tours of the 8 km long and roughly 2 km wide Kapiti Island, where the Kapiti Island Nature Reserve is situated. Passengers will be able to get a bird's eye view of its spectacular scenery, particularly the island's western cliffs, some hundreds of metres high, a scrub and forest, and its northern lagoon, as well as the drift of the Paraparaumu coastal landform towards Te Moutere O Kapiti.
