When to fly to Port of Spain

The first half of the year is the best time to head to Port of Spain. Although the weather is pleasant all year round, at a balmy 26°C, there’s less rainfall from January to May. Another reason to visit at the beginning of the year is the famous Trinidad Carnival, which takes place in late February or early March (depending on when Shrove Tuesday falls). If you don’t mind afternoon rain showers, you can find great deals on flights and accommodation from June to December.
