Skyscanner has recently launched a fan page on global social networking site, Facebook.
The Skyscanner Facebook Page will be frequently updated with links to relevant flight news and travel advice, will host photos of the company’s offices and outings, and will also provide a place for Skyscanner fans to interact with the company and each other.
A spokesman for Skyscanner said:
"We noticed that there was already a group on Facebook called "Skyscanner.net - I want your babies" - so we thought it was time to give our fans an official Skyscanner page on which to declare their Skyscanner adoration."
Anyone who is a member of Facebook can join the Skyscanner Facebook Page as a “fan” and then leave comments and ask questions directly to Skyscanner. However, even those who are not members of Facebook can still view the Skyscanner page (but you will need to join Facebook to interact).
The Facebook page follows the release of another Skyscanner Facebook tool – the “brag about this flight on Facebook” feature – whereby users can send a message to their friends about flights they have just booked on Skyscanner – encouraging others to join them, or simply to let friends know about their travel plans.
Skyscanner has plans to build other useful Facebook applications which will allow users to connect with their friends and family in the real world – rather than just online, so watch this space…
For more cabin choices, first select specific cities and travel dates.
We make every effort to ensure the price you see on Skyscanner is the price you pay with the airline.
Prices on Skyscanner always include an estimate of all mandatory taxes and charges. The final price you pay for your tickets may vary as a result of additional options offered by the airline, such as luggage allowances or travel insurance.
