The continent's largest low fares airline will begin three-times-weekly flights to the Italian airport from the Hungarian capital on March 30th.
News of the route comes after Wizz Air announced the launch of its web check-in service, which applies to all routes emanating from Budapest.
The service will be extended gradually and will take effect at all the carrier's airports by next spring.
Wizz Air confirmed last month that it will be basing a fourth aircraft in Warsaw and bring forward its operations from Wroclaw, Poland's fourth largest city.
Warsaw's newest aircraft will commence operations next spring, allowing Wizz Air to launch new flights to Barcelona and Eindhoven before the busy summer season.
Wizz Air currently operates flights to 150 destinations in 21 different countries. Over the past 12 months, it has carried 7.5 million passengers.
