Using a Skyscanner interactive creative rather than a text link can increase click through and conversion rates by as much as 200%.
This is because users are far more likely to interact with a creative because it offers them information which helps them make a purchasing decision. This can also increase conversions of your core product, as reported by this month’s case study, Espana breaks.
The average conversion rate in March 09 for the top 10 Skyscanner affiliates was 44.8%, where we see creatives being well placed. A mix of creatives can also improve conversion – for example using a combination of the map and flight search tools to give your users as much information as possible about their flight options.
