Khaled Ramy, the Egyptian State Tourist Office's UK & Ireland director, said the Pyramids are best visited in the afternoon when there are fewer tourists are around.
"They are less crowded and the sunlight is perfect to take a picture of all three pyramids from the panorama area," he commented.
Mr Ramy went on to say that there are numerous options for Brits visiting the north African country in terms of where to base themselves, with Cairo and Nile cruises being among the most popular options.
He also highlighted the appeal of the Red Sea Riviera, which he said is ideal for holidaymakers looking for sunshine and excellent beaches.
A survey published by Truprint.co.uk this week ranked Egypt's pyramids the nation's favourite international landmark.
