Oman Air passengers offered new check-in options
Passengers flying to the Middle East on Oman Air will soon be able to choose from new check-in options at Muscat and other major airports in the region.
The airline has announced that it will be implementing new check-in methods, including the use of mobile phones, the internet and customer service agents at airports who are equipped with mobile check-in technology.
Oman will also offer passengers the opportunity to choose their desired seat as well as print boarding passes for flights returning on the same day.
Commenting on the announcement, Oman Air's vice-president commercial Barry Brown said that it represented the airline's "commitment to the growth of the Oman aviation industry".
"Our newly-launched range of check-in options is yet another step towards providing a seamless and hassle-free air travel experience for our passengers," he said.
The launch of the new check-in options will take place later this month, with Oman Air being the first airline in the Middle East to offer such a service.
The airline announced in March last year that it would begin operating flights to six major world cities, including Frankfurt, Bangalore and Kuala Lumpur.
