Cheap flights airline easyJet has announced two new routes from Manchester International Airport.
The carrier will add flights to Geneva and flights to Sofia in December to cater to holidaymakers heading to Europe on ski trips.
Flights to Switzerland will start on December 12th, while new services to the Bulgarian city begin on December 11th.
Nine flights a week will run to Geneva which will allow passengers to reach ski resorts in both the French and Swiss Alps. Flights to Sofia will operate three times a week, with the resorts of Bansko and Pamporovo easily accessible from the city.
Carly Brear, easyJet's UK commercial manager, said: "These two new routes from Manchester are further proof that there is demand for direct low-fare services from the north-west to Europe.
"Geneva has proved an extremely popular destination from all across the UK and it's great that we can now replicate that success from Manchester. The Bulgarian capital, Sofia, is also expected to be popular as more people discover what the city and its surrounding areas have to offer."
Meanwhile, easyJet has announced details of its winter schedule for this year, which includes flights to Paris and Krakow from Edinburgh, as well as services to Prague and Venice from Belfast.
Flights to Innsbruck from Liverpool were added earlier this year and will also form part of the airline's winter timetable.
