Winner of Skyscanner iPod competition announced

Thanks to everyone who took the time to participate in the Skyscanner user survey.

You gave us some very useful feedback and ideas – lots of food for thought for how Skyscanner should evolve in the future. The winner of the prize draw for an iPod Touch is Susie Hill, a student from Cheshire, who has only recently started using Skyscanner, coming across the site when she was looking for summer flight bargains.

‘I really like the site,’ she said. ‘Other sites only offer you plus or minus three days around the days you’re thinking of travelling on, and Skyscanner gives you the cheapest flights across a whole month, or a year. And it comes up with some good suggestions about where you can go, including some unusual ones you might not have thought of.”

The next trip Susie is planning is a holiday at Christmas, so we will be having a look for some unusual bargain Christmassy destinations in a future issue of Airmail.
