Europe has had an excellent start to the season, with snow falling across the continent
Europe has already seen an excellent start to its winter season and with snowstorms continuing to dump huge amounts of snow over many of Europe’s ski resorts, this week promises to be another great week on the slopes.
FranceThe French Alps offered great skiing with sunny skies and bluebird condition over the weekend. Extremely heavy snow is now falling and some ski resorts are struggling to open all lifts due to the heavy conditions. After the storm passes, we should see some excellent powder especially in the Espace Killy (Val D’isere, Tignes).
Find cheap flights to GenevaSwitzerland Heavy snow is forecast for the whole of Switzerland during the early part of this week, with up to half a meter expected in ski resorts such as Zermatt and Saas Fee, so expect to find great Swiss skiing this week.
