Friday 21 November 2008

Skyscanner has been short listed in the User Experience category of the 2008 e-Consultancy Innovation awards.

E-consultancy's inaugural Innovation Awards attracted around 234 entries across 13 categories and they described the standard of entries this year as “ridiculously high”. The final round of judging has now commenced with the winner to be announced in early December.

Gareth Williams, Chief Executive and co-founder of Skyscanner was delighted to be amongst just 6 companies to have made the shortlist for the User Experience category:

“A great user experience has always been at the very forefront of Skyscanner’s core values. We pride ourselves on reading every single email that users send, and we are continually acting on the feedback we receive to improve our site and enable our users to find the best flights, fast.”

Earlier this year, Skyscanner revealed a new look to the site as well as several new innovations including drop down menus and the ability for users to filter and thereby personalise their search results by time and airline.
