Blue Islands is to introduce new routes to ski destinations around Europe this month.
The airline is to launch two services offering
cheap flights to Zurich and Geneva from
Southampton Airport.
Flights will depart from Southampton six days per week from October 26th using a 31-seat Dornier 328 aircraft.
Paul Sabin, managing director of Blue Islands, highlighted the focus on efficiency of service that passengers using the new routes could expect to receive.
He said: "Along with our competitive fares and fully changeable tickets, Blue Islands offers the passenger the added benefit of a dedicated Southampton check-in desk and a Fast Track channel through security."
Southampton Airport was among a host of UK airports at which passengers suffered delays and cancellations of flights last week because of a computer fault at Swanwick Air Traffic Control Centre.
Fortunately, the problem has since been resolved after the error was spotted at 16:00 BST on September 26th.
