Latvian carrier airBaltic has announced plans to launch flights to Dubai from Riga.
The cheap flights airline will start fights to the UAE city on October 24th.
Direct flights from Riga to Dubai will run twice a week on Mondays and Fridays, with the airline using a Boeing 757-200 on the route.
The flights start from LVL 139 one-way and flights from Riga to Dubai will take just over six hours.
airBaltic has increased its route network over recent months with new flights to Amsterdam, Finland and Sochi.
Daily flights to Amsterdam are due to start two days after the Dubai flights, with flights to Tampere in Finland scheduled for take-off at the beginning of October.
The Tampere flights take the number of flights to Finland operated by airBaltic up to four, with the carrier already offering services to the cities of Helsinki, Oulu and Kuopio.
