 Getting to & from the Airport

Driving hide 

Budapest Ferihegy airport is very accessible by car from any point in the city of Budapest. Ferihegy can be reached in 20 minutes from the city centre by the Ferihegy High-Speed Road. There is short and long term parking available on arrival at the terminal building.

Trains hide 

Passengers can easily reach Budapest Ferihegy Terminal 1 from the Budapest Nyugati Railway Station. On weekdays the number 110 and at weekends number 89 trains run from the city centre to the airport. Journey time is less than 30 minutes. Travellers can buy their tickets at Tourinform at Terminal 1 from 08.00 to 22.00 or at platform B at the railway station from the ticket vending machine.

The two platforms of the railway station are connected to the Airport Terminal 1 with a pedestrian footbridge equipped with lifts above the clearway. A short pedestrian path of just 200 meters takes the passengers from the terminal to the railway station.

Buses hide 

The Airport Shuttle-Minibus provides a really convenient and reasonable door-to-door transfer between the airport and any point in Budapest city centre. It operates 24 hours a day. Every vehicle is equipped with dual-air conditioning systems and free Wi-Fi hotspots for free internet access.
The Airport Shuttle-Minibus desks are  found at every terminal (Terminal 1, Terminal 2A and 2B). All Minibuses arrive to and depart from the Terminals’ Main entrance.

Taxi hide 

Főtaxi, are the designated airport taxi at Budapest airport. Főtaxi’s reputation is reliable and reasonable rates are guaranteed.
Reservations can be made in person at Főtaxi booths located at the exit at Ferihegy 1, Ferihegy 2A and Ferihegy 2B terminals.
