The national airline of Kuwait, Kuwait Airways offers a range of international flights across the Middle East, India, Europe, Southeast Asia, and North America. Its frequent flyer program is the Oasis Club, and it has codeshare agreements with six other airlines including Alitalia, Etihad, and Turkish Airlines.
How to Check In
You can check-in the old fashioned way, at the airport desk. Check-in times vary depending on your departure airport, but if you’re flying from London it’s recommended that you check-in at least four hours before your flight is due to leave. Online check-in is available from 24 hours up until 3 hours before departure.
Baggage Allowance and Fees
Economy passengers can bring up to 20kg of luggage, business class passengers can bring 30kg, and first class passengers can bring 40kg. No single bag can weigh more than 32kg due to IATA regulations. The allowance is slightly different for flights to the USA and Canada. On these routes passengers can bring two bags of any weight. Economy passengers must make sure their bags, when combined, don’t exceed 107”. First and Business passengers must make sure each individual piece measures no more than 62”. Excess baggage cost depends on route, and is priced per kilo. For example a flight from London to Kuwait would incur a charge of £21.34* per kilo, flights to Dubai £20.11*, and £28.27* to Mumbai.
Seating – Leg Room, Choosing Seats
Economy passengers have a fairly standard 32” of legroom, while business class passengers have 42-45”. First class passengers can stretch out with 61”of legroom. You can choose your seat when you check-in. Advance seat selection is available at a fee, as are seats with extra legroom.

Meals, Snacks, Drinks
Complimentary meals and soft drinks are served on board. No alcohol is served on Kuwait Airways flights, which is unfortunate if you enjoy a tipple while in the air. You can choose from a range of special diet meals, whether you’re on a low calorie diet, want something gluten free, or would prefer your meal to be ‘bland.’
